Visitors to the Website

When you, or anyone else, visits our website, I use a third Wix Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  This is for our own marketing purposes to find out which pages are most popular on the website, and to research customer patterns within the website. We do not access any of your personal data using this service and we do not allow them to make an attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the site.

If we do want to collect any personal data that identifies you through the website, we will be upfront and honest about this, and will give you the right to opt out at any time of giving us your data, or any personal details whatsoever.

Mailing Lists

We would like to send you up to date news, offers and information, as well as informing you of any new products we release. To do this, we will need some personal information from you – your email address and your name. We use this data to email you about products we are selling, events we are attending, blogs we have written and anything else we feel is relevant or of interest to you. We may also contact you to check we have your information correct, or to check you are happy still receiving content from us. We will never give, sell, trade or rent any of your data to or with other organisations or businesses.

We will not use the data you give me to subscribe to our website in any other way. It will not be saved on any other system aside from the Wix list you signed up for, and we will not transfer it to any other lists unless you allow us to do so.

We may occasionally email you to ask you if you are happy remaining on our mailing list – but we will always refer to our privacy notice to remind you of your rights, and if you do not want to continue receiving information from me, we will remove you from that mailing list.

You have the option to unsubscribe at any time to my website, either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of my emails, by emailing, or by going into your account on the website and unsubscribing.

Once you have chosen to unsubscribe from the website, we will delete all data we have on you and it will be removed from the system permanently.

If you have purchased products from Yogi Candle Studio, we will hold your data for a maximum of 3 years and may from time to time email you with information that we feel you will be interested in, such as new products or discount vouchers. We will only contact you with these products if we believe we have a legitimate interest to do so. The information that we send you will only be relevant to the product that you purchased from us, and will not be used in any other form.

To maximise your candle’s burn time, make sure that the first burn is for at least 3 hours. This will create an even burn pool and avoid tunnelling.

Always trim the wick once cool. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time as this can cause the wick to move, or create an uneven burn.

Keep the burn pool clear of flower petals as this can act as a secondary wick, causing the candle to burn quicker.

Store your candle in a cool, dry place when not in use. If you have a lid, the candle should also be covered when cool.

Use the candle in reasonable time after purchase to ensure that you get the most out of the fragrance.

Burn the candle down until there is 1cm of wax left at the bottom, and then discard. Never burn a candle dry.  Always keep your candle on a heat proof surface (preferably a coaster or another kind of surface protection). Do not move a hot candle. Keep away from children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of direct sunlight.
